A Recipe for Joy From Jerry Hicks (Abraham-Hicks)

Quotes about joy

A beautiful recipe for joy from Jerry Hicks of Abraham-Hicks. Enjoy and share these deep, meaningful quotes about joy, happiness, positivity.

Seek joy first and foremost

Seek reasons to laugh

Seek reasons to offer words of praise to self and others

Seek beauty in nature, beasts and other humans

Seek reasons to love in every segment of every day

Look for something that brings forth within you a feeling of love

Seek that which uplifts you

Seek the opportunity to offer that which uplifts another

Seek a feeling of well being

Know that your value can only be measured in terms of joy

Acknowledge your absolute freedom to do any of these things or not do any of these things, for it is without exception your choice in every moment of every day.

A Diwali Poem Of Hope

May the Diya vaporize the shadows
As it burns all through the night
May it light your way with Love and Joy
And make your New Year bright

✨ ✨ ✨ ✨

May your Life be filled with all the things
That your Heart holds very dear
As the Festival of Lights arrives
And Hope again draws near

Embrace Your ‘Weirdness’ And Make Peace With Who You Are

Embrace Your Weirdness

What would the world be without the misfits, the rebels, the square pegs in round holes? It is visionaries like Steve Jobs who changed our view of the world today.

It is the ones with ‘disabilities’ like Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Richard Branson, John Lennon, Pablo Picasso and Thomas Edison (all of whom were dyslexic) who have transformed the world with their vision, talent and brilliance.

What if their disabilities had been weeded out of them so that they ‘fit in’ better into an education system that kills creativity and genius? Would the world have benefited from the gifts that only they could have contributed?

Or would they have been turned into dumbed-down clones of everyone who graduates from the academic assembly lines that pass for schools today?

These views may be somewhat radical, but I believe that these geniuses – and many others – made the contributions they did because they opted out of the game.

They chose not to do what everyone else did simply because they were not cut out for it. Instead of focusing their attention on their disability – something that was not even diagnosed back then – they developed their own unique talents… and changed the way we experience the world.

Today, a diagnosis of disability can brand a child for life, causing endless embarrassment and destroying her fragile self-esteem in a world that stresses academic achievements over creative genius.

I believe that when you embrace your ‘weirdness’, your ‘disabilities’ or your own unique gifts that the Universe has bestowed on you, you teach all of us to see the world through different eyes.

When you share the vision that comes through your own unique lens with the rest of the world, you make all of our lives richer.

So don’t let anyone make you feel ‘less-than’ just because you’re not academically inclined or cannot fulfil your parents’ unfulfilled aspirations. You may be destined to be the next Picasso and to add to the beauty of all our lives.

I’ll end this with a brilliant quote by Rob Siltanen, that was made famous by Steve Jobs and Apple:

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

2 Magical Abraham-Hicks Law Of Attraction Techniques That Are Fun To Do

law of attraction techniques

This LOA tip is based on two magical Abraham-Hicks Law of Attraction techniques from my favourite Law of Attraction book, Ask And It Is Given, by Jerry & Esther Hicks.

This Law of Attraction tip combines two Law of Attraction techniques – Virtual Reality + Magical Creation Box – from their must-read Law of Attraction guide.

Do you need answers to the questions below?

  • What is the Law of Attraction?
  • Does Law of Attraction really work?
  • How does the Law of Attraction work?
  • How to use the Law of Attraction?
  • How to apply the Law of Attraction?
  • How to practice Law of Attraction?

If you want to learn more about the Law of Attraction, I recommend visiting the Abraham-Hicks Law Of Attraction website, (or, if you prefer video, their Law Of Attraction Youtube Channel) where you’ll find the answers to all these questions.

I had so much fun with these two, magical, Law of Attraction techniques (the book has 22 Law of Attraction steps) that I wanted to share it with everyone who loves Abe.

What Law of Attraction Tools Do You Need?

What you need to practice this Law of Attraction technique:

How To Apply These Law of Attraction Techniques

The first thing you need to do is go through the Law of Attraction book, Ask and It is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires (or the audiobook on Amazon Audible) – at least until the part where it explains the Virtual Reality and Magical Creation Box techniques.

Then in your Google Drive account or computer, create a new folder called “My Magical Creation Box.”

Go to Google Image Search and type in the keywords for whatever you want to manifest in your life (more money, your dream home, dream vacation, true love, dream family, dream career etc.).

Download the images that are closest to whatever you want to manifest. The emotions you feel are everything, you see, so only choose the images that spark those rockets of desire and make you go, “Ooh, I want that!” when you see them.

I wouldn’t worry about copyright issues here, because I don’t recommend sharing your creations with the world. But, if you do want to share your creations publicly, then use images that you have the right to edit and share, such as your vacation photos or free stock photos.

Download the Pixaloop app (or any app you prefer that lets you create those beautiful animated videos with magical elements and effects). These apps are some of the best, most fun, Law of Attraction tools.

Now, import the beautiful image you want to use as the base of your creation into the Pixaloop app and start editing.

Use the animate function to make parts of it move (like a waterfall or stream). Add a beautiful sunset or nightscape. Add effects and magical elements. Have fun with it – FUN being the magic word!

Edit the video until becomes so beautiful and real to you that it triggers only good feelings when you watch it, and all you want to do is look at it all the time.

Make the video at least 30 seconds long (a minimum of 17 seconds of focus is good, according to Abraham-Hicks). This is the Virtual Reality technique in action – focusing your imagination.

The next Law of Attraction step is to upload your creation into your Magical Creation Box in your Google Drive (or in a folder on your computer, if you prefer).

The technique is now complete. Whenever you want to recreate that good feeling, watch the videos you created, launch those rockets of desire and let the good feelings flow.

Repeat this for everything you want to manifest in your life. And, as Abe says, Have Fun With It! 😎

Other ways you can use the images saved in your Magical Creation Box are:

  • Create your own Law of Attraction wallpaper for your computer and Smartphone.
  • Add your favourite Law of Attraction quotes or affirmations to the images and save as your Smartphone wallpaper.
  • Create a Law of Attraction vision board with beautiful images that make you launch those good-feeling rockets of desire every time you look at it.

Inner Peace Tip: You’re not obliged to attend every argument you’re invited to

Inner Peace Tip

Inner Peace Tip

If someone starts an argument with you on social media or in real life and you don’t want to engage them, you have two choices:

1. You can explain to them gently that you don’t want to have this conversation with them.

2. You can ignore them and don’t give it any attention.

If you value your peace of mind, remember this: You’re not obliged to attend every argument you’re invited to.
